I wonder if any of their wishes ever came true.Maybe writing it down on a piece of paper and tying it to a sacred tree branch gives them just a little more hope.
More importantly,
Would they thank the tree when their wishes really do come true?
Or would they blame the tree when their wishes didn't come true?
I suppose that it's always about the tree either way.
